I-LEAP Staff

April Carter, M.Ed., Senior Program Coordinator
April CarterApril grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She has a Bachelor's of Science degree from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan and Masters of Education from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. She has worked at the University of Illinois since 2008. April is committed to helping students learn and grow as they are on their individual collegiate journeys. She believes that learning inside and outside of the classroom go hand in hand. As the Senior Program Coordinator for I-LEAP, she works to provide students with various opportunities that enrich the academic experience as well as help students transform into the student, leader, agent of positive change, and professional they desire to be.

Moses Rasberry, MPH
Moses RasberryMoses is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He obtained his bachelor of science in Community Health and his Masters in Public Health both at the University of Illinois. He took the opportunity to invest back into I-LEAP which, provided a foundation for growth and support during his undergraduate academic endeavors. He is committed to working alongside students in fostering their academic and career success. As an Academic Coach, he assists the program director and coordinator in the development of social and academic related programming for all I-Leap students, and mentoring the I-LEAP male students.
